Thought

 

The first "arché" is shelter. An architect builds the first wall among the creatures and difficulties of the planet: the disturbances, the hot and the cold weather, the incursions of the wind, of the water and of the other dangerous forces of nature.

The second "arché" is supposed to be "techné": the inventing, the abilityto make the construction of the shelter and its location, its structure, its functionality, its adaptability and its design.

ARCHITECTURE

Architecture must respect Genius Loci (the spirit of a place). Such a "spirit" suggests how to design in obediance of the culture and nature of the territory where you decide to build. Listening to Genius Loci, you can mould ideas and adapt theme to history and geography. Architecture is supposed to consider in high regard the local traditions and the innovative technologies in order to point out bearable solutions, to save resources and - helping to evaluate beauty - to produce economic results.

 

DESIGN

Reducing weight and exalting hightness are considered as the main conditions for a coherent design philosophy. From simple gestures, but necessary to the daily life, originate objects going beyond our present life.

 

INTERIOR

"Sostenibilità" moves from the "interior" both in the double meaning of "interiorità" (inner space) of the enhabitant and "spazio interno" (that is the delimited space) of the house. The architect's ability is supposed to be simple and essential in order to characterize form and function.

 

EVENTS

Organizing exhibition events either linked to the world of artistic expressions or to the most various life events, is an art made of balance, measure, ability and artistic feeling. Organizing events means to understand deeply the different dynamics involving the same events in order to assure on optimal final result.
